Noble Big Jim

A 9 year old gelding 17.1hh. Jim bought Big Jim from Naomi Pine in 2009. The name’s a bit tricky and in his first few outings the commentators seemed to call Jim – James Calverley to get over it!

The plan was to get Big Jim ready to compete at Young Riders in 2010 but he had a stable injury cutting his hock and although he has made a full recovery his training is behind so he will be starting the season late….when he is ready and back to full fitness. Watch this space!

Secret Affair IV (Zena)

Zena was left behind when Jim went to University. She went on loan to a student at Kate Walls yard but it didn’t work out and she came home to Yorkshire for the Winter with Adele Mason – Jim’s dressage trainer. Jim can’t have two horses at University and as he has decided to go on and do another year she is for sale:-
